Job Description
Fas Inergeia Solar Pvt Ltd, a manufacturing company in Mangalore, is hiring an experienced Welder / Fabrication Welder. The selected candidate will be responsible for welding and fabrication activities, maintaining welding quality, following technical drawings and safety procedures, and ensuring proper finishing of fabricated components.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG and Arc welding as per technical drawings.
- Ensure proper joint preparation, positioning and alignment.
- Maintain required welding quality, penetration and finishing.
- Inspect welds for defects and carry out necessary corrections.
- Minimize rework, material wastage and fabrication errors.
- Operate welding and fabrication tools and machines safely.
- Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Maintain safety, discipline and cleanliness on the shop floor.
- Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Arc welding techniques.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of welding symbols and applicable standards.
- Good hand-eye coordination and precision.
- Understanding of common welding defects and correction methods.
- Ability to work safely with fabrication equipment and tools.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
